A storefront that once housed discounted groceries is now home to other bargain items in Quakertown.
Total Liquidators, offering big box store items such as toys, clothing, home decor and small appliances at discounted prices, opened its newest location May 11 at 240 S. West End Blvd., according to a post on the business’ Facebook page.
The Country Square Shopping Center space previously housed Swann’s Pantry, a family-owned discount grocer that closed in January 2020 after 29 years of business.
Total Liquidators has three other regional locations: 100 Commerce Circle in Bristol, Bucks County; 1111 Mearns Road in Warminster, Bucks County; and 981 North Wales Road in North Wales, Montgomery County.
In Quakertown, customers can shop a wide array of merchandise, including air conditioners, bedding, cleaning products, cookware, furniture, lamps, luggage, rugs, towels, televisions, vacuums and outdoor and seasonal items such as grills, kids pools, inflatable floats, patio heaters, water guns, folding chairs, sandboxes, sun shades, fire pits and solar lights.
Popular brand name items include Bounty paper towels, Brita water pitchers, Coleman tents, Crockpot slow cookers, Dixie paper plates, Dawn dish soap, Dove body soap, Downy wrinkle release spray, Fisher-Price baby swings, Gain and Snuggle scent boosters, Gillette razors, Honeywell floor fans, Hot Wheels and Little Tikes play sets, Igloo coolers, Jergens oil-infused shea butter, Lysol disinfectant spray, Miracle-Gro plant food, Nerf guns, Oral B rechargeable toothbrushes, Pampers diapers, Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair, Scrubbing Bubbles foaming bleach, Sealy pillows and Ziploc freezer bags.
All items are sold “As is, Where Is,” according to a business description.
The store does not offer returns or exchanges. However, customers may open and test any items.
“Our items are a combination of damaged boxes, open box items, and new items,” the business description reads. “Because our items are discounted heavily, there are no returns. We don’t guarantee functionality or that all the items are located in the package. It is up to the buyer to ensure everything is functional. We will provide anything the buyer requires — outlets, extension cords, etc. to make sure they are comfortable with their item before they leave.”
Other products featured recently on the business’ Facebook page include air purifiers, humidifiers, bathroom rug sets, throw pillows, wall shelving, storage containers and baby and children’s items such as carriers, car seats, high chairs and strollers.
Customers also can shop men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, including bathing suits, pajamas, shorts, T-shirts, tank tops and underwear.
Total Liquidators in Quakertown is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. On Sundays, customers can pick any 20 items from the store’s dollar section for $10. Info: 267-574-3929.
